In honor of Memorial Day I wanted to write about my Grandpa Dean L. Sweat. He was an amazing man in so many ways! He was one of the most kind, loving, patient, honorable and mellow people that I have had the privilege of knowing. He was one of my favorite people in the whole world and I miss him terribly. Dean served his country in the United States Army during World War II. I am so blessed to have had him as an example to me of what it means to be a good person.
Thanks Grandpa for serving our country, and helping ensure our freedom!
Awe! What a nice tribute! I always loved your grandpa (and grandma)....and I know he was so special and important to Dalan, too! He looks so handsome in his uniform.
